What is a click speed test?

The click speed test, also known as the CPS Test (or simply CPS) is an online game developed by the online gaming website Rapid Typing. The goal of the click speed test is to determine a user's precision and speed when clicking a mouse or a track pad. In this game, players must click as many squares as possible within certain time limit.

The click speed test follows a simple format. Once launched, users will be presented with a game board with several grey boxes scattered around it. On either side of the board, two blue counters are displayed; one for the amount of clicks made, and the other for total track time duration. Players can either use a mouse or finger-dragging on their trackpad to select boxes and fill them in with color before the end of their set duration time limit.

To make matters more difficult and challenging, during gameplay users can encounter special squares that will drastically reduce their score if clicked too early before they fill out other boxes or double click them instead of single clicks. In addition to counting clicks, this game is also great practice for users to hone their motor skills and reflexes speeds by sparking brain creativity upon completing levels filled with routines.
